A brief recap…

I was born and raised in Ohio. I completed my undergraduate degree at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio where I received my BFA in Theatre Design and Technology. While studying at Otterbein I worked as a stage manager on many productions; I also spent time working in the scene shop and in the box office.

In the summer of 2013, I was the administrative intern at Glimmerglass Opera Festival, in Cooperstown, NY. Where I harnessed more clerical skills.

After finishing my final Fall semester in 2013, I moved to Las Vegas, NV to be the stage management intern for Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity”.

Once my internship with “Zumanity” ended I relocated to Brooklyn, NY. I worked as a production assistant on the 2nd National Tour of “Flashdance the Musical”, where I was promoted to the assistant stage manager.

Once the tour ended, I returned to New York and worked on a variety of small productions around the city, as well as, working for a few companies through a temp agency, Clarity, LLC.

I became the production assistant for the Roundabout Theatre production of “The Robber Bridegroom”, where I was promoted to the on-call assistant stage manager, earning my Actors’ Equity Association membership.

Towards the end of my time in New York City, I took on a job as office coordination for an LVMH affiliate, Fresh, LLC. At Fresh, I worked with the building liaisons, helped coordinate a move from one office to another, planned for budget, and executed office events. I worked closely with various departments to coordinate their needs.

Making a tough decision to follow my passions, I left New York City to pursue graduate school at UNC School of the Arts. Where I has continued to refine her skills while working on many projects as either a production or project manager. At UNC School of the Arts, I’ve been responsible for shows and projects from conception through closing. Duties include budget tracking, leading meetings, communicating with department heads, navigating conflict and other challenges, scheduling, reporting in to faculty on progress, bidding for time and labor.
